Areas of Specialty

My work integrates evidence-based and experiential approaches to support healing on emotional, physical, and relational levels. Through a blend of Internal Family Systems, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, somatic mindfulness, expressive arts, and self-compassion practices, clients gain greater clarity to understand their inner world, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of safety and hope. In addition, I work with clients in stages of life transitions, supporting both them and loved ones to create space for both individual and collective growth.

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that helps you explore the many “parts” within you. Each part developed with good intentions, trying to protect you from pain or judgment. Over time, these protectors can take the lead, reacting from old patterns even when your present-day self knows you’re safe.  IFS helps unravel the story to allow the deeper wounds to be unburdened.  You're able to lead from a more integrated, centered place.

Expressive Arts

Expressive arts therapy offers a hands-on way to explore and process emotions. Research shows that engaging with the hands activates areas of the brain that regulate mood and help reduce anxiety. Through creative forms like art, collage, and writing, we can help integrate what you're learning on a deeper level.

Pain Reprocessing Therapy

Pain Reprocessing Therapy is an evidence based mind-body approach using the brain’s ability to rewire new pathways. Your symptoms are very real, it’s just that the part of the brain generating them is making a mistake. We’ll explore areas impacting your brain's sense of safety and create a plan to help you feel less fear or frustration around them.  As these new pathways of safety strengthen and the pain signals quiet down, you'll gain confidence that you can do this, and healing is possible.

Somatic Expression & Mindfulness

Somatic expression and mindfulness are evidence-based approaches shown to reduce stress and support nervous system regulation.  Changing how we pay attention to messages from our body and present-moment experience activates areas of the brain linked to bringing greater calm, focus, and self-awareness.  These practices increase resilience to stress and enhance overall emotional well-being.

Life Transitions

I support clients through life changes and stressful seasons, from healing early attachment wounds before choosing a partner to navigating career shifts, parenting, divorce, or dating again. I also work with midlife transitions, such as an empty nest or caring for aging parents, helping clients balance these shifting roles while reconnecting with their own internal needs and direction. These times can stir emotion, but they also offer space for growth. Together, we create room for reconnection so you can move forward with a greater sense of clarity and strength.

Support for Loved Ones

When someone you love is living with chronic pain or emotional distress, it can be hard to know what to say or how to help. I offer guidance and education for loved ones to better understand the mind-body process of pain and the emotional patterns that often accompany it. Together, we explore ways to communicate with empathy, avoid language that reinforces fear or helplessness, and create an environment that supports calm and safety. This work helps loved ones stay connected while offering meaningful, compassionate support that truly aids healing.
