Hi, I’m Jackie, a holistic therapist who helps people reconnect with themselves, relieve stressful or painful patterns, and grow in ways that bring more balance and joy in their lives. My approach blends evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each person’s inner wisdom and capacity to heal. Together, we explore how life experiences have shaped your thoughts, emotions, and relationships to help unravel what feels stuck or misunderstood.

My work is trauma-informed and grounded in the mind–body connection. Depending on your needs, I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic awareness, and expressive arts. I’m a Level Two Certified IFS therapist and mastery-level trained in PRT, having worked with Alan Gordon’s Pain Psychology Center since 2021. I’m always deepening my work through ongoing study in neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and the ways emotional and physical healing are intertwined.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades as a journalist and documentary producer. Those years helped me refine the ability to listen deeply, ask hard questions, and notice what often goes unsaid. These skills carry over into the way I work as a clinician. I will help you explore your story with honesty and curiosity, while connecting the dots the subconscious holds to gain a greater sense of compassion, insight, and resilience.

Amending Place was born from the belief that healing isn’t about restoring what once was or simply mending what feels broken. Through the therapeutic process we are made stronger and more aligned to live authentically in connection with ourselves and others. I bring my own lived experience to this work with a history of healing from chronic illness, raising three children as a single mom, walking through grief and loss, and rediscovering purpose and love. These experiences impact the empathy and hope I hold for every client’s journey.

I work with people across all stages of life, from children to older adults, supporting those moving through life transitions such as inner child healing, career changes, parenting, seasons of anxiety or depression, midlife reflection, and caring for aging loved ones. My approach is collaborative and supportive, blending insight with practical tools helping you move forward with more clarity and confidence in your ability to create meaningful change.
